Dr. Helen Paul, popularly known as Tatafo, is one of the most celebrated comedians in Nigeria and a media personality. An academic enthusiast, Helen received a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 2010, and a Master’s degree in 2012. She also obtained an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. In 2019, she obtained a PHD in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos, setting a record as the first comedian from Nigeria to achieve that feat. ⁣

⁣Although it was her remarkable role as Tatafo in the radio show “Wetin Dey” brought her to limelight, her career began as a presenter on MNet, Lagos Television (LTV 8), and Continental Broadcasting Service (CBS). ⁣

⁣Passionate about sharing her talent and knowledge with others, Helen founded a Theatre and Film academy in Nigeria. Although she rarely publishes her works, she is a terrific writer. Her most prominent writing work is titled Life Burial, a play, which was released in 2015. ⁣

⁣She is a dedicated philanthropist and an award winning artiste who has received numerous awards and recognition, some of which include the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Award for Outstanding TV Presenter. She is married and her union is blessed with two children.
